So we are right in the middle of exhibition season, and I'm out there!

Did I take part in AppART? Maybe? Well despite submitting an early application, I never received an official ‘yay’ or ‘nay’ back on decision day, and even when I sent a follow-up email to the AppART office, I didn’t get a response to that either. So who knows what happened there, but as the show is now over it’s obviously a ‘nay’, but it would have been nice to have been told one way or another.

So what about the Summer Exhibition at the Royal Academy? Well, this is actually a ‘maybe’. I’ve had one of my pieces shortlisted for this prestigious show, and I now have to deliver it to London to see if they want to put it on the wall or not. This is still a long shot, but exciting nonetheless, and I’ve got an ever-growing reserve list of people wanting to buy it if it doesn’t get in!
